Join us for a day in the park to celebrate your Pagan Pride at Salt Lake City Pagan Pride Day 2012. This year's event will be held in Murray Park at Pavilions 1, 2 and 3 on Sunday, September 9th from 10:00am until 6:00pm.
There will be an opening ceremony and a ritual in the afternoon that everyone can attend. Workshops will be conducted where you can learn and explore different walks of Pagan life. We'll have an Interactive Deity Altar where you may honor various deities. There will be offering cups available for $1 each to make an offering to the Sacred Flame that will be located near the Interactive Deity Altar. Throughout the day you can explore booths with information about Pagan groups and activities. You can listen to a live concert and hear some great music. Or, sit in the shade and let your imagination sweep you away during our Mother Goose circle, where you'll hear fairy tales and stories brought to life.
Salt Lake City Pagan Pride Day is the perfect chance for you to reconnect with friends in the Pagan community and to make some new friends.
For your admission to the event, we ask that you bring a non-perishable food item to donate. All donated items will be given to The Road Home. It's a way that you can show your Pagan Pride and can help give something back to the community.
The Road Home is a private non-profit social service agency that assists individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Salt Lake County and along the Wasatch Front. Our mission is to help people step out of homelessness and back into our community.
Originally established in 1923 to assist stranded travelers, the Road Home has grown to address a spectrum of needs that people experiencing homelessness encounter as they work to restore their lives. In addition to operating the largest shelter in Utah, the Road Home has developed a comprehensive housing program that helps people move into housing as quickly as possible. Visit The Road Home
